Alfred L. Petties Jr.

Alfred L. Petties Jr. was born on April 13, 1972 in New Brunswick, NJ. He passed away on January 16,
2021 in Ridgecrest, CA. Alfred served in the United States Marine Corps retiring in 2010 after which he
continued to protect the nation he loved by working as an IT Specialist for NAWCWD at China Lake
California. Al was selfless, had a great sense of adventure, and welcomed everyone from all walks of
life. He loved racing desert vehicles which he did with his friend and for the Desert Racing Vets.
Al leaves behind a wife, Megan Petties, his mother Deborah Presley, stepfather Michael Presley, sister
Taneha Presley, and grand-father Frederick Daniel Presley Sr. Al also leaves behind aunts, uncles, and
cousins throughout the country. In addition, he had a family of friends and loved ones in Ridgecrest,
California.
Al was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by many from the West Coast to East coast. He showed
his love for his family and friends in the most endearing and engaging way. We are comforted by the
memories we hold in our hearts for him and look forward to the day we will be called forward to be with
him again. There are no more tears, no more sorrow, and no more pain for you our sweet loved one.
Until we meet again, we will continue to cherish you in our hearts, thoughts, and spirit.
