Angelia Hester Celestine

January 10, 1964 — October 30, 2021

Ridgecrest

Angelia Celestine, daughter of Alfred Celestine and Carolyn Celestine of Ridgecrest, California, transitioned from this life into eternity on October 30, 2021.

Angelia was preceded in death by her father Alfred Celestine, brother Alfred Celestine, Jr., grandparents John and Virginia Champion, and uncles Ronald (Butch) Jenkins, William (Billy) Jenkins.

Angelia was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, aunt, and friend. Most importantly, Angelia departed this world as a child of God and lived her life to His glory. She leaves behind two beautiful daughters whom she loved more than anything else in this world. Angelia had the most captivating smile that could light up any room, along with a sense of humor that would bring an abundance of joy and laughter. She touched others with her gifts in song, artistry, stylist, and genuine kindness. Even in her final days in this world, she was concerned about others' physical and spiritual well-being. Angelia will be deeply missed by all those that knew and loved her.

Angelia is survived by her beloved mother Carolyn Celestine of Ridgecrest, California; daughters, Alycia Celestine of White Plains, Maryland and Adrianne Celestine of Henderson, Nevada; sisters, April (David) Celestine-Cox of Conway, Arkansas, Zaronaka Marcano, Natasha Eddins all of Ridgecrest, California, Kizzy Vaughan of Shreveport/Bossier, Louisiana, Nona Celestine-Jones of Hemet, California; brothers, Allan (Cheri) Celestine, Aaron Celestine, Eddie (Pam) Celestine all of Ridgecrest, CA; aunt Debbie Champion of San Diego, California; grandchildren, Akirrah, Racquel, Dontray, Laniyah, Sariah, Vernon, Samyah; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Upon Angelia's request, there will be no scheduled funeral service. Her ashes will be released on Wednesday, November 10th, during a private family celebration. The Celestine Family appreciates all the kind words and prayers received during our time of bereavement.
