Long time resident, Bettye M Rivera-Sembach, 96, died April 12, 2021 at Bakersfield Memorial Hospital in Bakersfield, CA.

She was born July 11, 1924 in Vienna, Georgia to George Henderson, Sr and Gertrude Davis.

Betty was well known as a school teacher in our valley for over 32 years.

Bettye Marie Henderson Rivera Sembach was born on July 11, 1924  in  Vienna , Georgia to proud parents of Reverend George L. Henderson Sr. and  Gertrude Davis vis Henderson.

Bettye Marie Henderson Rivera Sembach  was  a dynamic teacher for over 32 years in

China Lake and Ridgecrest community.

Bettye was an Entrepreneur years before, in her own right. Buying and selling real estate all around the world.

Bettye  Marie Henderson Rivera  life transformed when she married Luis Miguel Rivera Sr.

Who was in the military and station at China Lake Naval Base which is

Located in California.  The Rivera's shortly after had a son Luis Miguel Rivera Jr. With the excitement Bettye went  home to Daytona Beach Florida to see family. Returning to California Bettye`s Mother Gertrude Henderson and little Sister  Phyllis Henderson also travel with her to help with Luis Miguel Rivera Jr.

Albert and Bettye started out as friends. A gentle giant and sophisticate woman. They help each other understand how the world work with and around their relationship. Which grew into a love that know one could Break! They truly became kindred spirits and marry. They are in Heaven Rejoicing Forever.
