Bobby Erwin Tharp

Bobby Erwin Tharp was born to Cletus and Edith Tharp on February 15, 1940 in Lancaster, California.  He went home to be with his Lord on November 12, 2021. He was 81 years old. He  had been a resident of Ridgecrest since 1942. Bobby is survived by his loving wife, Judy, of 53 years and his children Steven Wayne (wife Cathy), David Alan (wife Nicki) and Laurie Lynn (husband Mike McGee) and grandchildren Kali'an, Darren, Bobby, Emily, Kassie and Dylan and several great grandchildren, sister Patricia Tharp Farris, brother James W. Tharp (wife Betty) and brother Lyndle (wife Carol) and others who were know by him as family.

Bobby loved the Lord and served Him his entire life. The greatest gift he gave to his family and everyone he came in contact with was his generosity and caring spirit.  He will be missed by all.

His celebration of Life Service will be held at Immanuel Baptist Church, 201 Graaf Street, Ridgecrest on Monday, November 22, 2021 at 11:00 am.

Bobby was a longtime member of Immanuel Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church in his name.
