Bonnie Rae Strickland

Our loving mom, grandma, and great grandma Bonnie Strickland was called home to eternity by her savior Jesus Christ on January 13, 2023, just a few days before her 83rd birthday.  Bonnie was a bright light and one of the most loving people who had a very strong faith in Jesus and made her life all about faith and family.  She had a unique way of creating intimate and individual relationships with her family and friends, loving everyone for who they are.  Bonnie was vibrant and full of energy and passion for the Lord, she had been involved in many ministries throughout her lifetime including Women's Aglow, RCA Church, and the Lighthouse. Bonnie discipled and mentored many people throughout her lifetime, always encouraging others with the love of Jesus. She also worked for the school district for many years and had a special way of pouring into the lives of students.  Bonnie was married to her husband Jack Strickland for 54 years and together they raised six children. Bonnie is preceded in death by her husband Jack, step-daughter Holly, brother Don, sister Donna, and great grandson Luke.  Bonnie is survived by her brother John White, children Terrie Amidon, Tina (Kody) Canfield, Tess Morris, Eric (Robin) Onstott, Allen (Serina) Strickland, (12) grandchildren and (6) great grandchildren.  Bonnie was the center of her family and left a legacy of love and faith along with a path to Jesus for her loved ones to follow. Bonnie's celebration of life will be held at 10:00 am on January 27th at RCA Church.
