"Bronson Zurn became an angel last week leaving a massive hole in the hearts of his family and friends. He was born on November 4, 1989 in Ridgecrest CA, a perfect son to two imperfect parents, Craig and Lisa. His older sister Ariell (husband Christen), although initially disappointed that a hamster was not brought home from the hospital, learned to tolerate and love her brother.
Bronson was the proud uncle and protector of his nieces and nephew, Hallie, Rae, and Aiden, whom he loved without measure and unconditionally. Bronson's love extended to people outside of his family, notably Xzavier and Sindle in Utah.
Bronson was Grandson to Dick and Ellen Zurn (Ridgecrest CA) and Herbert and Josephine Piercy (Pontiac, IL). He also leaves behind an extended family with aunts, uncles, and cousins on both sides. He had other people whom he considered family, 'aunts and uncles' that were not related by blood, that were always there to support him when he needed it.
Bronson loved dogs, was a gifted and fearless athlete, and had an inquisitive mind that always had to figure out how things worked. This is how he came to known as 'Dammit Bronson.' He was also lovingly known as Bubba and Boston. He gave some of the best hugs ever.
Bronson's caring soul sometimes made his life very difficult but he powered through every hurdle that came his way, until he didn't want to do it anymore. His emotional trauma, PTSD, and anxiety were real and sometimes debilitating. People never know what another person is going through, which is why we should always show love and kindness.
His family asks that in Bronson's memory to please do an outside activity; go skateboarding (his favorite), plant a tree, do something good for the world as he believed fossil fuels are destroying the planet. Please know that if you called Bronson your friend or family, he had a place in his heart for you."
The family requests that no flowers be ordered. Thank you
