Carol Ann Mendonca Mann

Passed 03/15/2026 she was 84 years old.

Resided in Ridgecrest California.

Carol was born to the late Robert & Josephine Mendonca in Hayward California. On February 11th 1942. She was an only child.

Carol married the late George Albert Mann 1960. She is survived by 3 children Lee & Margaret Mann Donna & Bob Mann Morris & Michael & Tammy Mann. 6 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren.

Carol loved being a mother and like her son Mike says my fondest memory of you is being our Carol Brady. Wearing your apron making our school lunch boxes sending us off to school looking so cute and always being there when we needed you. Mike said I loved to watch her in her Bowling league.

She lived her life to its fullest starting in Vacaville as a Hair dresser. Her daughter Donna was the guinea pig for hair cutting. Her and Al built their 1st home in Vacaville California. Her son Lee remembered her so lovingly taking care of her animals a horse J.J and training our German Shepherd Keno.

She and Al took the big leap and moved to Greenville California and bought Manns liquor store and the Pastime Bar. Mom loved to play Cribbage with her patrons. All 3 of her children Graduated from Greenville High school

Carol & Al went to visit Mike in Ridgecrest and Tammy Mike's wife mentioned that they should buy the house next door. Mike was like no I don't want my parents next door. Ha ha. But what a blessing for many reasons that they said why not so they moved to Ridgecrest.

Carol enjoyed her time in Ridgecrest. Gardening was something she really enjoyed. Evenings kept her busy playing, Bingo; Tammy would come home to Mike and say your mom won again. When Dad passed Mike and Mom were buddies and played many games of cribbage and he will truly miss that. As he says she won 80% of the time.

Carol enjoyed her Grandchildren Great Grandchildren being at every party for support and comfort for 3 decades. Mom I couldn't have asked for a better Mom & I will cherish those times. Your loving son Mike.

RIP our Beautiful Mother. Lee, Donna & Mike.
