Mrs. Cherry "Elaine" Heenan, 72, of Ridgecrest, CA died November 4, 2020 at Bakersfield Memorial Hospital in Bakersfield, CA. She has been a resident of Ridgecrest since April 2018 coming from Cleburne, Texas. Elaine was born Sept 1, 1948 in San Francisco, CA. Before her retirement she worked as an Insurance Claim Agent.

Elaine was born and raised in San Francisco, Ca. She and her brothers had many adventures growing up in the city and forged several life long friendships. She began her career in the insurance industry with Fireman's Fund not long after completing high school and she worked in the industry for over 40 years. Elaine was the mother of four children, Cherry, Ron, Tammy and Adam. When she had kids, she also became a mother figure to many of their friends. She enjoyed planning parties and entertaining while they were growing up.

Elaine and her family moved to Texas in the 90's where she and her two youngest children spent several years raising and showing goats. They enjoyed doing these things together and made many friends along the way. After living in Texas for about 25 years she moved to Ridgecrest, Ca to be closer to her mother.

Elaine had 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, all of whom she loved adored.

Everyone who knew Elaine loved her for her tenderhearted kindness. She had a knack for loving people well and helping each of them to become a better person. She will be deeply missed by her family and a host of friends scattered across the United States.

She is survived by son, Ron Ashen of Santa Rosa, CA; Daughter & Son-in-law, Cherry and Shannon Fargo of Kellyville, Oklahoma; Mother, Cherry Merritt of Ridgecrest; Brother & Sister-in-law, Frank and Kathy Wynn of Showlow, Arizona, and Brother & Sister-in-law, Steve and Janet Wynn of Brookings, Oregon. Also, survived by 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Preceeded in death by Son, Adam Aldrich and daughter Tammy Martinez of Cleburne, Texas
