Our beautiful and vivacious "Aunt Claire" Reymore-Goodell decided it was her season where life here on earth had been fulfilled and the time had come for a grand reunion in Heaven with her family, friends and her beloved pets that preceded her. That day was Tuesday, May 20th, 2025. If you were fortunate enough to know her or have her in your life, the ride was always wild and fun … she loved fiercely, was the life of any party, and became everyone's "Aunt Claire" which made her very proud.
She was born in Oneida, NY on March 4, 1944 and had a 36-year career as Supervisory Financial Manager for the Analysis & Support Research & Engineering Branch working for the Navy Base at China Lake, CA before her retirement in January 2009. She loved to travel and was an avid supporter of the Guide Dogs for the Blind. She raised a few wonderful pups that didn't quite meet all requirements necessary to graduate from the Guide Dog Program - her latest was her sweet Akiva of nearly 11 years who now resides with her sister, Sprout and Aunt Claire's dear friends, Kay and Don. This is what Aunt Claire wanted for her …
She was preceded in death by her parents, Evalyn and Clarence Reymore, brother Kenneth Reymore, nephew David Reymore …. She leaves behind her brother, Gordon Reymore and sister-in-law Bev Reymore, sister-in-law Bette Reymore, nieces and nephews Terry Hine (Bart), Faye Rivera (Joe), Linda Hill-Reymore, Laura Reymore, Kaye Turley (Derek), Judie Foust (Frank), and Matt Reymore. And it goes on with a myriad of great and great-great nieces and nephews missing her as well. She loved us all fiercely and treated us nieces and nephews as her own. She was no different with her beloved Friends who she so graciously shared with her own family!
Services will be on Saturday, June 21st, 1:00pm at Holland and Lyon's Mortuary - the reception to be announced at her Memorial.
