In Loving Memory of Dale Neil Olmsted June 2, 1946 – September 16, 2025

With profound sadness and deep love, we announce the passing of Dale Neil Olmsted, who departed this life peacefully on September 16, 2025, surrounded by the family he so dearly cherished. Born in Pasadena, California to Lester and Mary Olmsted, Dale lived a life defined by devotion, resilience, and a quiet strength that touched everyone who knew him.

A longtime resident of Ridgecrest, California, Dale was a familiar and beloved figure in the community. As the owner and operator of PhotoQuik and Blimpie, he brought creativity, dedication, and a personal touch to his work—building not just businesses, but relationships that lasted a lifetime.

In his later years, Dale experienced a beautiful spiritual awakening, accepting Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. This newfound faith brought him peace and joy, and his family finds comfort in knowing he rests in eternal grace.

Dale was a loving husband, devoted father, and proud grandfather. He shared 44 wonderful years with his beloved wife, Janet Olmsted, whose unwavering love was the cornerstone of his life. He is survived by his daughter Shawna Quintana; his sons Christopher Olmsted, Paul Arntson, Russell Allen, and Ronald Edward Allen Jr.; and four treasured grandchildren who brought light and laughter into his days.

A passionate marksman, Dale was an avid shooter and a proud member of the Sage Pistol League. He found joy in the precision of the sport and camaraderie among fellow enthusiasts. He was a man of the desert—drawn to its vast beauty and solitude. He had a lifelong love for fast cars and the unmistakable rumble of a Harley Davidson, symbols of the freedom and adventure he held close to his heart.

Dale's legacy is one of love, loyalty, and authenticity. He will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his mischievous grin, and the way he made everyone feel like family. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the stories we share, the laughter we echo, and the love we carry forward.

A private memorial will be held by the family. In honor of Dale's life, the family invites you to celebrate the things he held dear—faith, family, and the open road.
