In Loving Memory of Daniel Anthoney Cane
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Daniel Anthoney Cane, a beloved son, a cherished brother, devoted father, and a friend to all whose lives he touched. Daniel left this world too soon on March 29 th 2024, due to a vehicle accident on Highway 395, leaving behind a
legacy of love, resilience, and unbreakable family bonds.
Daniel Anthoney Cane was born on July 17th, 1986 in Ridgecrest California to Linda and David Cane. From his earliest days, Daniel was known for his spirited nature, a characteristic that defined him through all walks of life. He had the unique ability to fill every room with laughter, even in the face of adversity, a trait that endeared him to many.
Daniel always loved fiercely and protected what was dear to him with unmatched vigor. His commitment to his family was unparalleled; he was a rock, a constant source of strength and support. He was a beloved son, a dependable brother, and above all, an extraordinary father.
His love knew no bounds, extending with equal warmth to his son and stepson, who were the pride of his life. Daniel embraced fatherhood with all his might, teaching his boys the value of hard work, the importance of family, and the strength that lies in each of us to overcome.
Though Daniel's journey was not without its trials, his resilience in the face of challenges was an example to those around him. He was a man of action, never hesitating to stand up for what he believed in, especially when it came to his loved ones. Daniel and his loved ones shared an
unbreakable bond, forged in shared experiences, laughter, and unconditional love. Their adventures, often filled with mischief, were a source of countless cherished memories.
He is survived by his parents Linda (Frank) Benson and David "Tony" Cane, sister Lyndzey Cane, his grandmothers Janet Radcliff and Christine Cane/Prosser, two sons Dylan "Buckas" Cane and Cleighton "Cleigh-10" Shelhart, nephew Devon "Champ" Segovia, niece Kynzley "Pretty Girl" Raisbeck. Girlfriend Nyla Noe, an abundance of uncles, aunts, cousins, and a community of friends who felt his impact deeply.
A celebration of life will be held at the Elks Lodge (201 E. Church Ave Ridgecrest, CA 93555) in Daniel's honor on June 8th 2024 at 1:00pm where family and friends can share stories and celebrate the life of a man who was truly one of a kind. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that

Daniel, your spirit, love, and laughter will forever echo in the lives of those you've touched. Rest easy now; you've earned it. Your legacy will live on through your boys, your family, and the countless lives you've impacted. You will always be missed and never forgotten.
