Donna Lee Kinkennon

Donna (Doni) Lee Kinkennon was born on February 19, 1930 in Harvard, Nebraska and passed away July 2, 2019 in Lancaster, California after a brief illness. Doni moved to California in the 1950s, and married Barney KinKennon in 1956. They were long time residents of the Indian Wells Valley. Doni was an avid swimmer at the Base pool for many years, and frequently played bingo at the Inyokern Community Center. Donna enjoyed sewing, painting and had completed over 300 paintings during her painting years.
Donna's parents, all of her 10 siblings, her husband Barney Kinkennon and daughter Kristell Brain all preceded Donna in death. Her two sons Scott Kinkennon and Tim Kinkennon, grandchildren Rebecca Esparza, Jeremy Kinkennon, Kaydee Brain and several nieces and nephews survive her.
The family would like to thank High Desert Haven and the staff for the excellent care given to Donna over the last two years.
Graveside services are scheduled for Friday July 12, 2019 at 10am at Desert Memorial Park. With a reception to follow.
