Doris Mae Boring

It is with great sadness, the family of Doris Mae Boring (nee Henderson) announces her passing
on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 due to cancer and Alzheimer's disease. Doris was born the
second child to Ethel and Allen Dale Henderson in McKeesport, PA and was raised in
Pennsylvania where she met and married her husband, Dean R. Boring, all whom have
preceded her in death.

Doris and Dean had five children; Dena Ross (deceased), Donna (Edward) Heaslip of
Herculaneum, MO, Jeffrey Lane (Jeannine) Boring of Ridgecrest, CA, Vicki Hobby of Trona, CA,
and Brian Boring of Ventura, CA. Additionally, siblings Louise Caraway, Joseph Henderson and
Gregory Henderson survive her. She was a proud grandmother of ten grandchildren and seven
great-grandchildren.

Doris spent 20-years as a military spouse, supporting Dean in a US Air Force career that saw
them through two tours of Germany and many stateside assignments to include Maine, Texas,
California, Oregon, and Minnesota before settling in Trona, CA. She was a wonderful mother
who could always be relied upon to listen to-and-advise anyone in need and absolutely no one
ever left her home on an empty stomach.

Funeral will be held graveside at 11 a.m. Friday, January 6, 2022 at Searles Valley Cemetery,
Trona, CA.
