Dorothy Ida McCormick passed away on December 21 st , 2022 at 100 years old.

Dorothy was born to Adrian and Ida Grotenhuis on August 3 rd , 1922 in Wisconsin. She was a beloved
Wife, Mother, Sister, Aunt, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Great Great Grandmother, and Friend.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Adrian and Ida Grotenhuis; her beloved husband, Peter
McCormick; her children, Patricia McCormick Woody, Michael McCormick, John McCormick; and her
siblings. She is survived by her grandchildren, Pete Carlisle, Kathy Carlisle, John Carlisle, Thomas Carlisle,
Gary Woody, Susan Woody Bridges, Randy Woody, Angela Tonasket, Julie Thomas, Kristin McCormick,
Katie McCormick, Michael McCormick, Courtney McCormick Thomas, JJ McCormick, David McCormick,
many great-grandchildren, many great-great-grandchildren; Nephew, David (Terry) Campbell, Niece,
Diana North, and many great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Dorothy met her husband (Peter) as a teenager, he was her neighbor. They married and had 3 children.
Peter adored her and affectionately referred to her as his pretty little thing when he would greet her good
morning each day.

Dorothy loved to dance. She continued going to dance classes well into her 90s. She also loved golf,
crocheting, and painting. In addition to this; we can't forget to mention the color pink, it was her
favorite. She was incredibly fun and loved spending time with family and friends.

Dorothy lived an amazing life and was loved by so many. She has left us with a heart full of love and
beautiful memories.
