Edward Joe Valerio

It is with deep sorrow and heartfelt remembrance that we announce the passing of Eddie Valerio, who died peacefully at the age of 102 on February 12, 2025, at his residence.

Eddie was born on September 25, 1922, in Denver, Colorado, and grew up in a time when resilience and service to others were deeply valued. A proud and honorable man, he enlisted in the United States Navy at the age of 18 and served during World War II and the Korean War. His time in the Navy was a testament to his commitment to duty, patriotism, and courage. Eddie proudly defended our freedoms and contributed to the efforts that secured peace for generations to come.

After his 21 years of military service, Eddie returned to civilian life, raising a family and establishing a career as a Civil Servant. His warmth, integrity, and steadfast character left a lasting impression on all who knew him. He was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. His wisdom, kindness, and sense of humor enriched the lives of those around him, and he will be remembered with great affection and admiration.

Eddie is survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, as well as a circle of friends whose lives he touched with generosity and love.
