Elise Lara Littleton was taken by cancer on February 18, 2026, after being diagnosed a year before. She was 38.

 Elise was born on August 22, 1987 in Ridgecrest, CA to Warren and Elaine Littleton. She graduated from Burroughs High School in 2005, where she was active in the BHS Choir. 

After graduation, Elise worked at various human resource positions in Ridgecrest, including at Sierra Sands and at Ridgecrest Regional Hospital. She spent time living in South Carolina and Utah as well, before moving to Port Orchard, Washington in 2023. In Port Orchard, she worked at a veterinarian’s clinic and was serenely happy to have found the place she thought of as “home.” 

Elise was a lover of animals, and especially of cats. She had five cats in her family at the time of her passing: Ella, Ezra, Eli, Gypsy and Pixie. They meant the world to her. Elise also had a beautiful voice and was always singing. She was a steadfast and helpful caregiver to her mother and was often the person cracking up the room with sharp-witted humor, even to the very end. 

Elise is survived by her mother, Elaine Littleton; her sister and brother-in-law Marla and Larry Cosner; and her forever partner-in-crime Kyson Willis, as well as several nieces and nephews, extended family, and her loving cat family. She is preceded in death by her father, Warren Littleton. 

She is gone too soon and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
