Elizabeth Ann Johnson

Elizabeth (Liz) Ann Johnson born January 11, 1940 passed peacefully on Tuesday May 16, 2023.

Elizabeth grew up in Lone Pine, Ca with her family where she spent her life until moving to Ridgecrest, Ca in 2008.

Elizabeth worked for southern Inyo Hospital in her early years as a nursing assistant and medical records technician. She later changed careers and went to work for Inyo County Health & Human services for 25 years as social worker where she later retired.

Elizabeth cherished every minute she was able to spend with her close friends and family. Her children, grandchildren and great grand children were the light of her life.

Elizabeth is preceded in death by her parents Laverne & Robert Whiting, grandparents Elizabeth & Relles Carrasco.

She is survived by her brother Robert (Diane) Whiting, son James (Kelley) Johnson, daughter Julie (Richard) Phillips, son Richard Faberman, grand-daughter Jaycee (Jeremiah) Estrada, grandson Jimmy Johnson, grandson Payton Phillips, grand-daughter Hannah Phillips, great grandchildren, Alexia Carson, Kaytlyn Carson, Ryder Johnson, Scarlett Johnson, Aiden Phillips, David Gill, Piper Phillips and great-great grandson Rhodes Stratton and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

There will be a private memorial service at a later date.
