Ernesto "Nesto" Ortiz

Ernesto Ortiz Moreno Jr., loving husband, father, son, and brother passed away at the age of 31.

Ernesto loved many things in life, riding his Harley, taking care of animals, and being a father. He loved riding his bike everywhere he went, going to work or to the store or on long trips, especially with his father-in-law Dave and brother-in-law Nick. Ernesto had a special connection with animals, he loved to take care of all sorts of animals which lead him to pursue a career at VCA Crestwood as a veterinary technician. Of everything Ernesto's proudest moment in life was the day he first became a father. Everyday he spent with his family was the only thing Ernesto needed, having his sons help him fix things around the house or working on the car or his bike. That made him truly happy.

Ernesto is survived by his wife Amanda Elizabeth Edwards, his two sons Connor Wayne Ernest and Elliot Ernesto Ortiz, his father and mother Ernesto Ortiz Sr. and Berta Alicia Ortiz, his two sisters Sandy McCarley and Maria Alvarez Ortiz, and several nieces and nephews Enrique Antonio Alvarez, Gisselle Alvarez, Adan Ernesto Alvarez, and Sara Alicia Alvarez.

He was taken from us too soon and will be dearly missed.
