Esperanza G. Ortiz

Esperanza G. Ortiz, our beloved mother was called to be with Jesus at the age of 80 years old on Friday, October 14, 2022 in Ridgecrest California.  She left peacefully and is now reunited with her husband Francisco J. Ortiz, her son Francisco J. Ortiz, Jr. and her granddaughter Taleeah Brown. Born to Manuel Godinez and Celedonia Contreraz in Jalisco, Mexico on December 25, 1941.  She moved to Ridgecrest in 1975 and raised 12 children.  She is survived by her children Elidia Dixon, Silvia Ortiz, Margarita Perea, Geena Addison (Tracy), Joel Ortiz (Dawn), Marina Stewart (John), Monica Perez (Johnny), Daniel Ortiz (Amalia), Carolina Ceasar (Jermaine), Estrella Ortiz and Jacqueline Ortiz (Breanna), 40 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She enjoyed singing, laughing, cooking , playing Loteria and going to the Casino with her family.  She enjoyed attending church and singing praises unto the Lord. She also enjoyed her garden and talking to her beautiful plants.  She was our nurturer, our caretaker, our best friend and loved us unconditionally.  She will forever be in our hearts.
