Faye Burnett

On the morning of January 25, 2018, Faye Burnett passed quietly in her home next to the man she loved. Faye was a loving mother, wife and a truly kind and gentle friend to all who knew her. She left behind a husband of 30 years and a son.

Faye was born in Abingdon, Virginia and raised in Greeneville, Tennessee where she attended high school and later joined the US Air Force. After leaving the military she moved to California and was drawn to Ridgecrest due to her love for outdoor adventure and good hikes. When asked why she climbed so many things, she always responded with "because it's there". It was in Ridgecrest that she met her beloved husband, earned her degree in psychology and cultivated an incomparable rose garden while raising her son and making the world's greatest fudge.
