Frank Bruce “Buster” Neff passed away on June 1, 2026 in Ridgecrest, California. Frank was 94 years old, he is, and was loved by so many.

Frank was born January 3rd, 1932 in San Clemente, California to Ester N. and Glenn Ray Neff, both of whom preceded him in death,

Frank had a full 20 year career as a flight engineer in the US Navy. Frank was in both Vietnam and the Korean War. Frank had a love and passion for motorcycles and racing. At one point Frank tried his hand at being a farmer, where he enjoyed tending to his farm animals. Frank worked at NAWS China Lake for many years as a supervisor for the Transportation Department, before he retired.

He is also preceded in death by his brother Glenn Ray Jr., his first wife Charlene, his daughter Glenda Cresap and granddaughter Michelle Komes. Frank is survived by his wife Patricia Basart Neff, (her children David, Doug, Steven and Patty), Frank's daughters Patty Komes, Carla (Scott) Tobiassen, Leslie (Robert) Briseno, Frank's grandchildren Heather Cresap, Melissa Tunget, Daryl Komes, Heath Hause, Charlene Beckett, Chelsey Wayne, Frank Neff Briseno, Monica Amara, Vanessa Briseno and many nieces, nephews and great grandchildren. Frank is also survived by his Sister Dorthy Kent.

Services will be held at Holland and Lyons on July 31, 2026 at 10am.
