Frankie Byrd passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 3, 2026, in Ridgecrest, California. She is now joining her parents, her four sisters, and her two brothers in heaven.

Frankie was the proud mother of Samantha Barnett; her daughter Sarah Cliborne and son-in-law Tom Cliborne; and her adopted children, Adrian Hughes and Jessica Maciel. She was a loving grandmother to eleven grandchildren and a cherished great-grandmother to eight great-grandchildren.

In her younger years, Frankie enjoyed hunting, and throughout her life she was known for her strong attitude and wonderful sense of humor. Even as she slowed down later in life, her personality and spirit never faded.

A service to celebrate Frankie’s life will be held on January 24th at 11:00 a.m. at Holland & Lyons Mortuary, 216 S. Norma Street, Ridgecrest, California 93555.

Frankie will be remembered for her strength, her humor, and the deep love she had for her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
