Frederick Eugene “Freddy” “Rick” Villicana Frederick Eugene Villicana, affectionately known as Freddy and Rick, passed away peacefully at his home at the age of 88 on September 13, 2026. He was born at the Lawton Indian Hospital in Lawton, Oklahoma and was the only one of his 8 siblings to be born in a hospital. He is survived by one sibling, Genevieve Castillo, Anadarko, OK. Four sisters and 2 brothers preceded him in death: Anna Long, Juanita Blackshear, Antoinette Brown, Lena French, Joe Villicana and Eli Villicana. He was a proud member of the Comanche Nation and was the grandson of Asetoyer (Gray Mountain) and Genevieve Martinez.Around 1958, he proudly joined the United States Marine Corps. He was stationed at NAWS China Lake, where he met Janice Green. Together, they made their home in Trona, California. Rick worked for many years as a supervisor at the Searles Valley Chemical Plant, where he remained until his retirement. Those who knew Rick knew that he loved getting behind the wheel and heading out on an adventure. Whenever he had the chance, he loved taking his family along for the ride and making memories together. He also had a special way of making the kids happy. He always seemed to have a quarter in his pocket—enough for a turn at the jukebox or a game—and those simple moments became memories his family would carry with them for a lifetime. His life was enriched by the love of three marriages and the families they brought together. He and Janice Green shared two children, Robert and Sandra. His marriage to Jean Ray brought Katrina Ray into his life. Later, he married Robin Magby, whose sons Garry, David, and Robert also became part of the family he cherished. His family was shaped not only by marriage and blood, but by the bonds of love he formed throughout his life. Freddy was also blessed with many grandchildren: Robert’s children: Nathan, who preceded him in death, and Corey. Sandra’s child: Kristopher. Katrina’s children: Porsche and Elaina. Garry’s children: Julie, Emily, Nina, Garry III, and Marcus. David’s children: David Jr. and Caleb. Robert’s child: Reese. Rick was also blessed with many great grandchildren. Kaden, Austin,Owen, Ryder tru, Ryott,, Kylee, Cedar, Sawyer,Beau and Hazel.

Rick leaves behind a family filled with memories of his laughter, his adventures, his generosity, and the simple moments that made him who he was. His love for his family will continue through the generations. A graveside service will be held on October 2, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., with arrangements by Holland & Lyons Mortuary. A celebration of Freddy's life will follow the graveside service at the Trona Elks Lodge. Freddy will also have a service in Anadarko, Oklahoma. A portion of his remains will be buried in Memory Lane Cemetery in the military plot near his 2 brothers. Rest with the Lord in peace. We will meet you there in the blink of an eye.
