Gregory Alan Miller, 49, of Ridgecrest California, passed away September 7, 2026. He was born December 17, 1976 in Portsmouth Virginia to Debi Pomrenke and Glen Miller.
Greg Jr lived in Iowa until he was 5 years old. It was then that his dad, Greg Sr, joined the Navy and the family moved to San Diego California. He lived there until graduating from Santana High School. In 1997 he joined the Navy and proudly served our country for 14 years. Greg traveled all over the world and made many lifelong friendships. His love for working on jets continued after his Naval career where he was employed by V2X as an airframes mechanic.
While Greg loved all things Navy but he had other interests, from Hot Wheels to knives to music to playing the guitar to unique yard art. Greg was eclectic and when he found a new interest he dove head first and learned as much as he could about it.
Greg spent the last 10 years building a home and beautiful life with his wife, Victoria and their dogs. While they had many adventures Greg’s most favorite times were the ones spent sitting on the porch with his little family listening to music enjoying the beauty of the home they had built together.
Greg is survived by his loving wife Victoria, his pups Cash and Penny, his parents Greg Sr and Debi Pomrenke, sisters Michelle and Heather Miller, nephews Gavin and Morgan, his Aunt Bobbi Von Fange, life long best friend Andrzej and Aida Ignatowski, godsons Antoni and Lukasz, as well as his in-laws Sherman and Mamerta Stewart, sister-in-law Sarah and Grant Herbert and their children Ryan, Ashley and Zachary. As well as numerous friends, Navy buddies and family members both near and far.
He was preceded in death by his pups Molly and Sox.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Greg at The Lighthouse (111 Balsam) Wednesday September 16, 2026 at 2pm.
