Harvey Welfl, 88, of Inyokern, California, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2025. Born on January 21, 1937, in Tyndall, South Dakota, Harvey lived a full life defined by hard work, honesty, and unwavering devotion to his family.
A proud business owner, Harvey built his success through perseverance and integrity, earning the respect of both colleagues and friends. But above all, he was most proud of his role as a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather — the true center of his world.
To those who knew him, Harvey was the embodiment of strength and humility. He was generous with his time and had a heart that seemed to make room for everyone he cared for. Outspoken yet kind, he led his family with wisdom, humor, and love — traits that will never be forgotten.
Harvey had a deep passion for life's simple pleasures. He loved the thrill of dirt track racing, the peace of being on the lake or river, and the joy of catching a good ball game. And most of all an ice cold beer. Whether he was working under the hood of a car, sitting at a bar with friends, or cheering from the stands, Harvey found happiness in every moment.
He is survived by his three daughters — Pam, Joy, and Debbie — along with his beloved 9 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren who carry forward his legacy of love, strength, and integrity.
Harvey's life was a testament to perseverance, gratitude, and love. Though he is no longer with us, his influence will live on through the countless memories he created and the lessons he leaves behind.
We love you, Dad. Thank you for the endless memories and everything you taught us girls in life. Your love, laughter, and strength will forever stay in our hearts.
