Jack Richard Neffew

Jack Richard Neffew 85, born to Jack V. Neffew and Esther K. Neffew on August 5, 1937 in Vallejo, California.

Jack R. Neffew married Patricia Ann Neffew on March 25, 1962 married for 57 years. Jack serviced in the military for 4 years and worked at Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division for 35 years. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, spending time with family, watching football and NASCAR, and golfing.

​Jack survived by: daughter Carrie Louise Hoss, brother David Neffew, grandchildren Alissa Godfrey, Brandin Bennett, Timothy Bennett, Heather Douglas, Breanna Duck, and Stevie Newton, great-grandchildren Sean Arnold, Tim Arnold, Michaela Duck, Deanna Duck, Susan Duck, Xavier Oggs, Kaily Newton, Desiree Oggs, Talon Douglas, Kylee Godfrey, Tristan Douglas, Harper Newton and Annebelle Duck.

Preceded in death by wife Patricia Ann Neffew, parents, and daughter Susan Marie Gaustad (Neffew).

Jack passed away at the hospital in Ridgecrest, CA on November 14, 2022 with his family present.

Services will be held at 10:00am on January 7th, 2023 at Hollands and Lyons Mortuary Ridgecrest, CA with Rick Gaustad officiating. Scattering of ashes will immediately follow services at Desert Memorial Park Ridgecrest, CA along with a celebration of life following the scattering of ashes at Elks Lodge Ridgecrest, CA lunch included.

In lieu of flowers charitable donations can be made to Alzheimer Association.
