A wonderful and loving man now an amazing and eternal soul known as James Wilson Kincheloe outlived his body and left this realm on the 14th of Jan 2024 in Ridgecrest California. He was blessed into this world on September 28th, 1934, in Lavene, Missouri and is survived by his wife of 71 years, Patricia Kincheloe. The union brought forth a daughter, Sandra Kincheloe Pelant, their second son, Timothy Kincheloe, and their first deceased son, Jim Kincheloe. He also has five grandchildren, Larry Flores, Ryan Flores, Jessica Kincheloe, Joey Kincheloe and Christopher Kincheloe. His accomplishments are numerous, but the highlights are crossing the equator on the 6th of November 1965 while aboard the USS Enterprise CVA (N), serving thirty-one years in the United States Navy and retiring as an officer, achieving the rank of Commander as well as obtaining his master's degree at Embry riddle in Aeronautical Engineering.
Before his transition to infinite glory, he was working for Saalex on China Lake NAWS, California for over thirty years as an aviation ordnance specialist until he was eighty-nine resigning one day before he passed. James Wilson Kincheloe served many roles throughout his journey on earth; teacher, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, friend, mentor, sailor, commander and all who knew him came away a better person from having him in their lives. He will be missed by all, but his memory will remain in all the people that love and cherish him. Funeral services celebrating and honoring his graduation from his mortal coil and enrollment into paradise will be provided at the Crossroads church on Weds the 31st of Jan 2024 at 11:00 am. Afterwards, there will be a meeting at Holland and Lyons at 10:45 am on Feb 1st, 2024 where we will Line up in our vehicles and follow each other to Bakersfield National Cemetery for his burial and to pay final respects.
