Jeffrey Maurice Black would have been happy spending every living hour on his dirt bike.

Jeff passed away peacefully with close family by his side on April 23rd 2026. Jeff was 62 years old at the time of his passing. Jeff was born in Eureka California and moved with his family to Inyokern in his early childhood years. He acclimated well to the desert environment, instantly skilled at catching snakes and lizards. No other activity made him happier than being on a motorcycle. Jeff raced motocross at a professional level in his early adulthood, and although he experienced several severe injuries, he continued to race into his late 40s.

In 1998, Jeff branched off from the family business, Sun Construction, when he moved to Medford, Oregon. His parents, Jeannette and Floyd Black, mentored Jeff to begin his own construction company, Jeff Black Construction.

Jeff is survived by his partner Denice, sister Julie, and brother Jason.
