Jill Anne King

Jill Anne King, 57, of Ridgecrest, CA, passed away Sunday January 8, 2023 in Bakersfield, CA following a lengthy battle with breast cancer and most recently sarcoma.

She was born on September 11, 1965 in Ridgecrest, to John Brooks Talley, Jr and Joanne Covert.

Jill loved to go look for painted rocks around town, loved nature and roses. She especially enjoyed going on adventures with her friends Mike and Sheila. She also like to go hiking and swimming.  Jill treasured her two little dogs. In addition, Jill was an amazing cook, and was very creative and great at drawing.

She will be remembered as an amazing mother, daughter, sister and friend. Her children looked up to her everyday describing her to be selfless, caring, a strong fighter and warrior.

Son:  Michael King Jr and wife Sandi of Ridgecrest

Sister:  Jean Marie Scott of Cayucos, CA

Brother: John Brooks Talley III and wife, Penney of Ridgecrest

Sister: Janice Faye McCarley and husband, Larry of Ridgecrest
