Joel Gregory Moline

Joel Gregory Moline 10/7/1967 - 11/18/2024 It is with great sadness we announce that Joel Gregory Moline, beloved son, brother, spouse, father and friend passed away on November 18, 2024 at Palmdale Hospital in Palmdale CA due to complications from diabetes. Joel was born on October 7th, 1967 in Ridgecrest, CA to Arnold Moline and Arlene Rabe. He was the youngest of 5 children. He attended Inyokern elementary school and graduated from Immanuel High School in 1985 as class salutatorian. He married Carin Williams in 1990 and had 2 children, Brent and Hannah Moline. After his divorce, Joel met the love of his life Svetlana Fitzpatrick, and spent the last 8 years helping raise and being a stepfather to her 2 children Audrey and Devin Fitzpatrick. Joel worked as a cable lineman for Benchmark for a number of years and then worked at the fuel farm on base for over 30 years, first as a driver and later as a dispatcher. He also worked as a prison guard at California City for several years. His latest position was as a logistics lead at Jacobs engineering for the last 4 years. In all these jobs he was always recognized for his dedication and hard work. He was very mechanically inclined and could fix or build just about anything he set his mind to. He enjoyed golfing, singing, cooking and watching movies with his family. Joel was, above all else, a kindhearted and caring soul and was always available to help his parents, siblings, kids, friends and even strangers. Joel is survived by his life partner Svetlana, his children Brent and Hannah, his stepchildren, Audrey and Devin; his siblings, Cindy Moline, Daryl (Jan) Moline, and Luana (Scott Sandy and his Stepmother Edith Moline. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by both his father and mother and his brother Curtis Moline. Joel will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.
