John Joseph Makowski

John Joseph Makowski went home to be with our Lord and Savior on June 3rd, 2025. He was 67 years old. John was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather and he enjoyed multiple activities in the community. He was an active member of Toastmasters international and part the local bowling league. John was a faithful soldier of The Salvation Army for most of his life and was an active church member and volunteer. He dedicated his life to serving the Lord in all he did. During the Christmas season you could find him ringing the bell for The Salvation army red kettles; one of his favorite ways to volunteer.  He is survived by his wife Rhonda, His Son Bryan and his wife Mareah, and his grandson Thomas.

There will be a celebration of life for John at The Salvation Army Monday June 16th  at 11:00am.
