John Pat Seals

John Pat Seals, age 75, went home to be with the Lord on 12/11/23 in Ridgecrest, California, succumbing to Parkinson's Disease.   John was born in Chillicothe, Missouri on 12/10/1948.   He served in the Navy; and in his professional career of 40 years, supported the warfighter in the development, integration and test of radar systems for our Naval aircraft such as the F-14 and F/A-18.

He was a certified personal trainer specializing in building confidence in young adults.  In his spare time he enjoyed classic cars, trains, woodworking and RV traveling with the family.  John was an active member of Calvary Chapel Ridgecrest for 20 years, supporting many different ministries.

John was known for his wit, gentle spirit, sense of humor, generosity and kindness.

John is survived by his wife Kathy, his daughter and son-in-law Monique and Dan VanZee, his Son and Daughter-in-law Chris and Emily Seals, his stepsons Kevin Finch and Owen Finch and their families, his three granddaughters and two grandsons, his sister-in-law Stephanie Seals, his nephews Steve and Jay Seals and his niece Anna Seals.   His extended family also includes his father-in-law Ken Bryant, his sisters-in-law Debra Grauert and Susan Tianen, and many aunts and uncles.
