John Michael Slagle

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many.

John moved to Ridgecrest at the age of 10 years old. He was a true "Desert Rat". He lived his life "Old School", because in his words "there is no other way".

From riding his horse to Inyokern school every day until his passing. He wouldn't have wanted to be anywhere else. The only other thing he cherished more was his family.

John is survived by his wife Traci. His 3 children; Jimmie with wife Jessica. Daughter Edith with husband Michael. Daughter Rainey with husband Jacob. 7 Grandchildren; David, Charles, Madison, James, Wyatt, Bentley, and Boston. Great Grandson Jaxton, Great Grand daughter Ivy on her way soon!

John is preceded in death by his mother and father; Ramona and Malcolm (Brownie) Brown. And his brother Bobby Slagle.

On monday the 30th of September at 5:30pm at the Eagles lodge, we will be having a potluck dinner in celebration of John's life. We urge all to come and share their experiences they have had with John. And to hear some too!
