Joseph Patrick Clavet

Joseph Clavet went to be with the Lord on April 04, 2022, at his home in Ridgecrest, with his family by his side. He is now reunited with his lovely wife Beverly. The youngest of seven children born to Charles and Mary Clavet on August 27, 1935. He is preceded in death by his wife, Beverly, his parents Charles and Mary Clavet, and his siblings, Bernard Clavet, Catherine Rizzardini, Evelyn Butrick, Margaret Russell, and Mamie Clavet.

Joseph is survived by of his children, Cindy Swisher, Lynne' Schoors (Chris), Jeannine Smith, son-in-law, Chris Smith, and Frank Kane (Lisa). In addition to his grandchildren, Daylynn, Keith, Erin, Casey, Rikkilyn, Marissa, Madelyn, Megan, Emma (Pablo), Travis and Adrienne. His great-grandchildren, Alex, Anthony, Karsen, Jayven, Stella, Victoria, Vincent, Lilah and James. His sister, Charleen Reeves, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends, including Max Hess and family.

Joseph worked as a civil service employee at China Lake in the Public Works department, machine shop, where he later became the foreman of the machine shop until his retirement in 1984.

Joseph would be ready to fish every opening weekend of fishing season at Crowley Lake for many years. He faithfully followed Notre Dame football.

A rosary is scheduled at Holland & Lyons Funeral home from 5:00pm-7:00pm, Thursday, April 21, 2022, with the recitation of the rosary at 5:30pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated by Fr. Shawn Aaron (Nephew) at Saint Ann's Catholic Church @ 10:00 am, Friday, April 22, 2022, in Ridgecrest, Ca. Along with grave side services at Desert Memorial Park with military honors. A reception will be held at Saint Ann's in the parish hall immediately following the grave side services.
