Joshua Robert Kirkpatrick

Josh went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 3rd, 2023.

Josh was born December 28th, 1978, in Auburn, Ca. He came to Ridgecrest in 1985 at the age of 7 years old with his parents Bob and Toni Kirkpatrick. As a youth in the I.W.V. Josh found his passion for sports, mainly youth roller hockey. He played with his brother and friends into his adult years. He enjoyed watching NHL hockey on T.V., especially the L.A. Kings.

Over the years Josh worked at several places in the area: Defense Contractor SA-TEC, China Lake: High Desert Home Center, Ridgecrest; Searles Valley Minerals, Trona. It was at High Desert Home Center Josh met the love of his life Karen Hill (Carter), together they were raising their two boys.

Josh was preceded in death by his mother Toni Kirkpatrick of Ridgecrest, Grandparents Jack and AnnaMae Kirkpatrick of Ridgecrest, and David and Beverly Gerri of Bakersfield.

Josh is survived by his father and stepmother Bob and Shirley Kirkpatrick of Ridgecrest; sister Sara Forland of Kettle River, Minn.; brother Jeremiah Kirkpatrick of Ridgecrest; his extended family, Michelle LeBlanc of Chicago, IL.; Tim Perkins of Santa Maria Ca.; Russell Nightengale of Ridgecrest; and the love of his life Karen Hill (Carter) of Ridgecrest. Josh is also survived by his six children son Dylan Kirkpatrick of Ridgecrest; son and daughter Jonathan and Karalynn Kirkpatrick of Morrison, IL.; daughter Isabella of Ridgecrest; and youngest sons Jackson and Preston Kirkpatrick of Ridgecrest.

He was greatly loved and will be sorely missed by family and friends, and all who knew him.
