Juan Manuel “El Maestro” Torres September 16, 1954 – February 18, 2026

With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved father, Juan Manuel “El Maestro” Torres, on February 18, 2026, at his home surrounded by love.

Juan was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and lifelong mechanic whose hands built more than engines — they built a legacy. For over 50 years, he shared a beautiful marriage with his wife, Cecilia Torres, who stood beside him through every chapter of life. Together they built a family grounded in love, resilience, and hard work.

He is survived by his loving wife, Cecilia Torres; his children, Heriberto, Roberto, Mariana, and Juan Jr.; and his cherished grandchildren, Celeste, Valerie, Samantha, Rebecca, Daniella, Emma, Dalia, and Noemi.

Known to many as “El Maestro,” Juan dedicated his life to mastering his craft as a mechanic. There wasn’t an engine he couldn’t take apart and rebuild. He generously passed down his knowledge and skills to his children and his wife, teaching us not only how to fix what was broken, but how to work with integrity, pride, and determination.

In his downtime, Juan enjoyed trying his luck on the slot machines at the casinos, always hopeful and enjoying the thrill of the spin. Above all, his greatest joy was his family.

Our father was a man of strength, wisdom, and quiet generosity. His lessons, laughter, and unwavering presence shaped who we are today. Though he is no longer with us physically - y eso ‘ta cabron - his spirit lives on in the values he instilled and the work he taught us to do.

We will miss you every day, Dad. Your legacy lives on through all of us.
