Kenneth Charles Robesky

July 11, 1977 — July 16, 2025

Lake Isabella

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Kenneth Charles Robesky announce his passing on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at Antelope Valley Hospital in Lancaster, Calif. His passing was unexpected and heartbreaking for all.

Kenneth "Ken" was born July 11, 1977, in Bakersfield, Calif., to Thomas and Sharon Robesky. The family moved to Ridgecrest, Calif., where Ken attended Faller Elementary, James Monroe Junior High and graduated in 1995 from Immanuel Christian High School. He was a student athlete.

After graduation, Ken served four years in the Army and four years as a reservist. After a short time in Bakersfield, he moved to the Kern River Valley in 2003. He worked for several years at Vons, then transitioned to customer service manager for Wells Fargo Bank.

He met the love of his life, Breanne Davis, marrying in 2018 and continued building a life with her and her son, his "best buddy", Ethan.

Ken was a larger-than-life presence, a consummate debater, Fantasy Football pro, and an avid San Francisco 49er fan. He was often referred to as Mr. Incredible for his super-hero stature and qualities.

His love of people and desire to grow in his life, coupled with his experience aiding victims amid gunfire during the tragic events in Las Vegas on October 1, 2017, motivated him to begin a new career as a first-responder in his early 40's. He became an emergency medical technician for Hall Ambulance and immediately started pursuing the incredibly difficult challenge and rigorous education of becoming a licensed paramedic; a goal he proudly achieved in 2024.

His final years and moments were dedicated to selflessly providing life-giving medical assistance to others and loving support to his friends and family. As an organ donor, he continues saving lives.

He is survived by his wife Breanne, step-son Ethan, mother and step-father Sharon and Steve Oldfield, in-laws, Michelle and Dell Davis, brother Will Robesky (Sarah), sister Allison Robesky, sister Deidre Bowman (Darrin), and baby sister Sonia Woychio (Brian), along with 11 nieces and nephews, many great-nieces and nephews, numerous cousins and relatives, and countless friends and colleagues.

Ken was met in heaven by his grandparents, Charles and Mildred Lampson, Kenneth L. Robesky, and Audrey Robesky Cummings, his father Thomas J. Robesky, and brother-in-law, Jason Patin.

Everyone who was blessed to know Ken, "Mr. Incredible" felt the love that he offered and his presence was always a comfort to those in distress - we will forever miss him here on earth.

Interment service will be Aug. 29, 2025, at the Bakersfield National Cemetery, 30338 E. Bear Mountain Blvd., Arvin, Calif., promptly at 10:45 a.m.

A celebration of life will be held Sept. 6 at the Kern River Eagles Lodge, 12251 CA-178, Lake Isabella, Calif., from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m.
