Kurt William Cripps, A longtime resident of Ridgecrest Ca, passed away peacefully at the age of 53, surrounded by family on October 12th 2023. Kurt was born on April 25th 1970 in Indianapolis, Indiana to William Hawkett Cripps and Elizabeth Jean Michie. He was the youngest of 5 children. He spent his childhood with the kids in the neighborhood, and his own brothers and sisters playing one sport after another with his first love being bowling. Although a career in baseball was an option and injury sidelined him and he eventually started his career in the Military at 18 years old. He spent the next 10 years as a Combat medic and in Aviation medicine, Traveling the world 2 ½ times. He served in Desert storm, Croatia, Bosnia, and the Gulf war. His interests included, Computers, Bowling, Golf, Darts, and Stephan King books. Although he had an accomplished life his favorite moments were spent with his family. He adored everyone as they did him. He is survived by his wife Lori Jean Cripps, His son Aleks James Keeney (Rachel), His Daughter Faith Eileen Cripps (Enrique), His brother Sean Casey (Ruthie), His Sister Mary Casey Huntzinger (MeMe), and many Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, And cousins. He is preceded in death by his Mother Elizabeth Jean Michie, His father William Hawkett Cripps, His Brother Brian Casey, His Sister Colleen Casey, As well as his Grandparents and other family members. Kurt lived a good life full of memories, love, and cherished moments. He was a jokester and he was happy all the time. He never met a stranger and was an all-around good man but most importantly he loved the Lord. he will be truly missed everyday by family, friends and any one that crossed paths with him. A celebration of life service will be on November 18th at 2pm at Grace connection.
