Lisa Marie Mahoney

Lisa Marie Mahoney, 41, passed away after a brief illness surrounded by loved ones on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Stanford Medical Center in Palo Alto, California.

Lisa was born on July 31, 1982, in Ridgecrest, California, the daughter of Ernie and Ellen Mahoney. She lived in Ridgecrest her entire life. Lisa attended Las Flores Elementary School, James Monroe Middle School, and graduated from Sherman E. Burroughs High School in June 2000. She later pursued a career in the medical field and graduated from Cerro Coso Community College in 2014 with an Associates of Science Degree in Medical Assisting.  She was employed as a Medical Assistant by Reen Medical Group for the past 7 years. Lisa had a heart of gold and loved helping her family and patients with their medical needs. Lisa was previously employed by the Ridgecrest Animal Shelter and had a passion caring for animals, many of which she took into her home and they became family members.

Lisa is survived by her parents Ernie and Ellen; sons Dylan Hagewood and Kevin Dugan; brothers Jason (Denise) Mahoney and Christopher (Dessarae) Mahoney; nephew Ryker Mahoney; nieces Kilie Mahoney, Leah Mahoney, and Hannah Mahoney; and Fiancé Timothy Dugan. She also leaves behind her Uncles and Aunts Jimmy and Karen Mahoney and Roger and Marilyn Everett

She also leaves behind numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Ira and Verna Mahoney and Lester and Ardis Parson.
