Lois Anne Christie

Lois Mae Ferry was born on March 20, 1957, in Farrell Pennsylvania. She was immediately put up for adoption. On March 21, 1958, Lois was adopted by Pete and Nancy Christie. The best day of their lives they would tell us. Lois always celebrated that day also. That is when Lois Anne Christie came to be.

Lois was an adventurous soul. She enjoyed having fun, spending time with her family, especially her granddaughters. Lois married and became a mom at a very young age. That didn't stop her from seeking adventure, she just took Lori along with her. Once Melissa and PJ were born Lois settled for good in Ridgecrest, Ca. Family meant everything to her. Lois was tenacious when it came to her children and grandchildren and cared very much for them.

Lois was known around town for her waitressing skills. She worked at a few local restaurants, El Charro Avitia being the longest place that she worked, she made many friends there.

Lois is preceded in death by her parents Pete and Nancy Christie.

Lois is survived by her Fiancé William Holmes. Her three children, Lori Shelhart (Carlos Herrera), Melissa Moore, Douglas P.J. Moore(Roberta Lee). Her four granddaughters Jennifer Exzabe-Jones, (Anthony Jones) Kayla Herrera-Roth, (Max Roth) Phoebe Moore, and Tatum Herrera. Her four great-grandchildren are Layla, Anthony Jr, Leilani, and Osiris Jones.

Lois will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She is gone but not forgotten. Her spirit will live in our hearts forever.
