Mario Sosa Ramirez, was born on January 19, 1941, in Parral, Chihuahua, Mexico to Pedro Sosa and Guadalupe Ramirez. Mario will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, and as someone who knew how to make everyone laugh in every conversation. This included his favorite saying, “What the fly”.

Mario built a strong work ethic early in life and carried it with him throughout his career. He worked as a Plant Supervisor for the Pepsi Cola Company in Mexico for a total of 11 years, where he was respected for his leadership, dedication, and commitment to excellence. Later, when he came to the United States, he worked at a big company in Long Beach and at a Ridgecrest restaurant until he retired.

He was married to the love of his life, Maria Magdalena Ramirez-Sosa, and together they built a life centered on love, faith, and family. Mario treasured the time he spent with his loved ones, creating lasting memories through simple but meaningful moments.

In his free time, Mario found peace and joy in his CB Radio, the outdoors, and working on his vehicles. Most mornings he would be in his living room talking to people out of the state and country. As for his vehicles he always took the time to repair each one he owned, from small tune ups to complete engine overhauls. He loved fishing at Lake Isabella, California, and along the Kern River. Camping trips with his family were among his happiest times, surrounded by nature, laughter, and the people he loved most. In his freetime he enjoyed cooking and making his own salsa for his family.

Mario’s legacy is one of strength, devotion, and unconditional love. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew him. He is remembered through his true love of 49 years, Maria Magdalena Ramirez-Sosa, his still living brothers José Angel and Guillermo, and sister Rosa, as well as his children Rosaelena, Ricardo, Mario Alberto (Chino), and Gabriel, nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Sadly, Mario was predeceased by four siblings and his sons, Oscar and Hipólito.

Mario desarrolló una ética de trabajo desde una temprana edad, y la llevó con él durante toda su carrera. Trabajó como supervisor de planta para la compañía Pepsicola en México por 11 años, donde fue respetado por su liderazgo, dedicación y compromiso a la excelencia. Luego, al llegar a los Estados Unidos, fue empleado para una gran compañía de Long Beach y luego en un restaurante en Ridgecrest hasta que se jubiló.

Se casó con el amor de su vida, María Magdalena Ramírez-Sosa, y juntos crearon una vida centrada en el amor, la fe y la familia. Mario apreciaba las horas que pasaba con sus seres queridos creando memorias para siempre por medio de momentos sencillos y significativos.

En su tiempo libre, Mario encontró paz y alegría en su radio CB, en estar al aire libre, y en trabajar en sus vehículos. La mayoría de las mañanas se encontraba en su sala, hablando con gente adentro y afuera de los Estados Unidos. En cuanto a sus vehículos, siempre tomó el tiempo de reparar cada uno de ellos, incluyendo las afinaciones más pequeñas y revisiones más grandes. Le encantaba ir a pescar en el lago Isabella en California, y también por el río Kern. Ir de camping con su familia era uno de sus momentos más felices, rodeado de la naturaleza, la risa y la gente que más quería. Le gustaba mucho cocinar, particularmente hacer su propia salsa para la familia.

La herencia de Mario es una de fortaleza, devoción y amor sin condiciones. Será profundamente echado de menos. Todos los que conocieron a Mario se acordarán de él para siempre, particularmente por medio de su amor verdadero de 49 años, María Magdalena, sus hermanos, José Ángel, Guillermo y Rosa tanto como sus cuatro hijos, Rosaelena, Ricardo, Mario Alberto (Chino), y Gabriel, sus nueve nietos y once bisnietos. Desafortunadamente cuatro de sus hermanos y dos de sus hijos, Oscar y Hipólito, fallecieron antes que Mario.
