Misty Dawn Simolon

Misty Dawn Simolon, age 46, of Ridgecrest, California, passed away Monday, December 4, 2023, with her family around her in Antelope Valley Hospital after an illness.

Misty was born in Ridgecrest, California, on September 12, 1977. She graduated from Burroughs High School in 1995, where she was on the varsity soccer team. Misty was always a hard worker. At the age of 15, she worked for Bud McGee at White Cross Pharmacy, and she then became the first pharmacy tech at Savon Pharmacy. She met her former husband in 2000. They were married in 2001, and in 2002, they moved to Whidbey Island, where their son Nicholas was born . From there, they moved to Texas, where their daughter Leann was born .

Misty worked as a Field Officer at Heart Home Health Care. In 2018, Misty returned to Ridgecrest and began working at Alutiiq . She then went to work for Ridgecrest Medical Transportation. This was her favorite job. Misty's parents want everyone to know she was loving, kind, and caring.

She was taken too early from us and will be missed so much! Rest in peace, our dear daughter.

Misty is survived by her children, Nicholas and Leann Haney, her parents, Mark and Debbie Simolon, and her fiance Robert Diamond, as well as many Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. Misty is preceded in death by her Grandparents Chester and Delores Simolon, Grandparents Delbert and Twila Mathias, Aunt/Godmother Kathleen Simolon, Uncle Ron Bush, Cousins Daniel Mathias, Chuck Roulund Jr., and Daniel Rice.

Services will be held on December 14, 2023, at 10:00 am at Holland and Lyons Mortuary. Graveside services will be held at Desert Memorial. Cemetery. Reception will follow at VFW, 117 N. Alford St, Ridgecrest, Ca.
