Nancy Anne Swallow

Nancy "Fancy" Anne Swallow was born on January 9, 1949 in New York, NY and lived in Bakersfield, CA at the time she was called to heaven to be with the love of her life, Robert E. Swallow, October 6, 2018.

Nancy was originally from Ridgecrest, CA where she and Bob made their home and raised their blended family together. They had established careers and enjoyed participating in Alcoholics Anonymous and Families Anonymous meetings, many of which they hosted in their private home. Nancy certainly had passion for helping others and gave of herself when called upon by someone in need.  Often this would ensue at all hours of the day or night.  She was in her highest glory when giving to and helping others.

Nancy passed away peacefully with her daughter at her side. She was adored by all who met her.  Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Swallow.  She is survived by her son Ricci C. Gretona (Megan), her daughter Shelley Siemens (Paul Trent), Step-son Alan Swallow (Marilyn), and step-daughter Rhonda Clapp (Roger), Grandsons Nathan P. Kunde, Chad R. Siemens, Hayden E. Gretona, Michael Swallow and granddaughters Noelann I. Gretona, Hannah Jane C. Gretona , Nicole Kelly (Mike) and Kathleen Coleman (Mike), three great-grandchildren and four siblings, Geoffrey, Susan, Patricia, Gina and many nieces and nephews along with a multitude of close family friends that adored and loved her.

Visitation will be held at 1:00 – 2:00 PM at The Lighthouse 111 N. Balsam St., Ridgecrest, CA 93555

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 – 3:00 PM, Saturday, October 20, 2018 at The Lighthouse 111 N. Balsam St., Ridgecrest, CA 93555

Burial will follow immediately after the service at Desert Memorial Park, 801 S. San Bernardino County Line Rd., Ridgecrest, CA

Reception: 4:00 PM at The Lighthouse 111 N. Balsam St., Ridgecrest, CA 93355
