Nina Jean Sushinsky

April 10, 1952 — February 27, 2022

Heaven gained another angel. Nina Jean Sushinsky was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She passed away suddenly on February 27th, 2022 at the age of 69 in Johannesburg, CA.

Nina was born on April 10, 1952 to Truman and Laurine Kosht. She grew up in Hollydale, CA and was the 4th oldest of a family with 5 siblings. She met the love of her life, David Sushinsky, through a mutual friend. Together they had two children Rhonda and Dana. Nina also loved and cared for her stepchildren Aaron and Kim. Nina and David would have been together for 51 years in April.

Anyone who knew Nina knew she loved children, spending time with family, looking for new rocks to add to her collection, looking for treasure, watching birds and playing her games on the computer. She was the most selfless person that went out of her way to take care of others. She was also the most beautiful woman inside and out. Her heart was full of love, kindness and compassion. Her laugh and personality was contagious. She will always be remembered and be in the hearts of her family.

She is survived by her husband David, two daughters Rhonda and Dana, stepchildren Aaron and Kim, grandchildren Tommy, Monique, Marissa, Christian, Emily, Erika, Austin, Aaron Jr. Jessica and Wyatt and four great grandchildren Aleenah, Carson, Logan and Ember.
