Normand Rene Ledoux

Normand R. Ledoux, known to his friends as "Frenchy'' age 85, passed away on Sunday,

November 5, 2023 in Ridgecrest, CA. Born in Pawtucket, RI on November 2, 1938, he was the son

of the late Albert and Lillian (Cote) Ledoux.

A U.S. Naval veteran with over 20 years of active service. He was an A6 Aircraft Weapons System

Specialist. He retired at the rank of Senior Chief (E8) on December 1, 1980. Frenchy was

awarded Navy Unit Commendation and Vietnam Service Medal with 4 Bronze Stars. After

retirement he worked at NWC China Lake and some of those years he worked on the QF4 Drone

program.

He is survived by his sister Louise Ledoux of Pawtucket, and several nieces and nephews. He

was the brother of the late Dolores Gregoire, Cecile Ledoux, Roger Ledoux, Bertrand "Bert"

Ledoux, Sr, Donald Ledoux and Richard Ledoux.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial at Holland & Lyons Mortuary at 216 S.

Norma Street, Ridgecrest, CA on Wednesday, December 6th at 10AM. His funeral service will be

celebrated with Military Honors on Thursday, December 7th at 1 :1 SPM at Bakersfield National

Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Saint Ann's School, Ridgecrest Ca in
