Patricia Mae Andrews

Patricia "Pat" Mae-Audine Spurlock Andrews passed away peacefully on August 25, 2024, in Ridgecrest, CA with family by her side. Pat was born in Hardy, AR on November 24, 1934, to Jefferson and Thelma Spurlock. She was the oldest of four children and is survived by her sister, Jeffie "Ann" (Glen) Lovelady of Carson, CA.

Pat is also survived by her four children, Ronald (Kay) Andrews of Lompoc, CA, Julie Gockley of Ridgecrest, CA, Susan Gockley of Ridgecrest, CA, and Sherri (Coy) Robertson of Newtonia, MO. She was blessed with 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren, with another one on the way.

Pat's family relocated from Hardy, AR to Arvin, CA when she was 16. She graduated from Arvin High School and met and married William "Bill" Andrews and had their first child. In 1955 they moved to Trona, CA and had three more children. She resided in Trona until moving to Ridgecrest in the 1980s.

Pat loved to learn and earned her Associates Degree at Cerro Coso Community College. She dedicated her life to her family and working and volunteering for organizations that specialized in helping others.

Pat will be greatly missed by her family, but we find peace in knowing that she is now free from pain and suffering.

A graveside service is scheduled for Friday, September 13th, at 10 am at Desert Memorial Park located on San Bernardino Boulevard in Ridgecrest
