Patricia Sue Kincheloe

July 14, 1934 — January 27, 2025

On the 27th of Jan 2025 Patricia Sue Kincheloe took her final breath with loved ones in tow and graduated from this realm into God's arms in Ridgecrest California.  She was blessed into this world on 14 July, 1934, in Marion, Il and is survived by her daughter, Sandra Kincheloe Pelant, their second son, Timothy Kincheloe, and her first deceased son, Jim Kincheloe.  She also has five grandchildren, Larry Flores, Ryan Flores, Jessica Kincheloe, Joey Kincheloe and Christopher Kincheloe.  She was married to James Wilson Kincheloe for 71 years until his own passing in Jan 2024.

On her time on earth, she was extremely dedicated to her family.  To use her own words: "My family has always been my career."  She was also the anchor and bedrock for her husband when he was serving in the United States Navy.

As a military wife she was able to visit several places around the globe.  Such as Hawaii, Japan, Philippines, Hong Kong, Germany, Austria and Alaska.  She met all kinds of different people from various walks of existence and formed life long bonds along the way. Patricia mentioned that this was a tremendous blessing from God and was grateful for every bit of it.

As a little girl she was a tomboy as she played sports such as football with the boys.  Also she was very fond of roller skating and enjoyed spending time with her childhood friend Cindy while growing up in Marion, Illinois.  After high school she worked as a telephone operator for a short stint before meeting her soul mate James Wilson Kincheloe and marrying him in 1952.

One of our most cherished memories is when she took me to Frashion Valley as a toddler (Fashion Valley mall) while living in San Diego so she could find some space and just relax.  For a time, I would put up with it because she bought me hot dogs until one day I rose up in rebellion, cried and said "I don't want a hot dog, I want Donalds." (McDonalds). There was never a time in my life where I felt I was ever separated from her, even if I was on the other side of the world and even now.

The best end game you can hope for when you outlive your body is to not only leave behind loved ones that will cherish and uphold your memory the rest of their days but to also feel like that your time here has been fulfilling and personally rewarding. "We all have to travel different roads in our lives and I hope yours has been as fulfilling as mine has been."  "God bless you all."  -  Patricia Sue Kincheloe.
