Pauline Mckinney

A longtime resident of Ridgecrest California, Pauline McKinney, Patterson, passed away on March 25, 2025, in her home. Born on November 1, 1938, in Cherryvale, Kansas.

Pauline lived a life marked by dedication to family and hard work. Pauline was the co-owner and operator of Auto Kool Service with her spouse Earl L. McKinney prior to their retirement in 2005. After which she cared for Earl along with family till his passing. Pauline's family was central to her life. She is lovingly remembered by two daughters: Ruth Zerby and her spouse William of Ridgecrest, California; and Danielle Davis and her spouse Dean of Bakersfield, California. Pauline also leaves behind eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. As well as her brother Ralph Patterson of Kansas, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Pauline was preceded in death by her spouse Earl McKinney of Ridgecrest CA; her parents and grandparents; sisters Janet Meyers and Shirley Johnson; and brothers Alvin Patterson and Eugene Patterson.

A Celebration of Life followed by a brief reception will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, 11:00 AM at Desert Christian Center, located at 100 E. Bataan Ave., Ridgecrest, California 93555. A private family ceremony will take place at Desert Memorial Park prior to the Celebration of Life.
