Raymond M. Wilson passed away on March 23, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. in Kennedy Meadows, California, at our beloved cabin nestled in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. He was the victim of a massive myocardial infarction. He was 78 years old.
Born on May 8, 1946, in Newark, New Jersey, Raymond was the son of Raymond and Ann Wilson. He grew up alongside two older sisters, both of whom spoiled their baby brother and preceded him in death.
In addition to his sisters, he leaves numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews living on the east coast and in Finland.
Raymond enlisted in the Navy shortly after high school graduation. He served four years as a plane captain and received an honorable discharge.
Raymond was known for his kind and pleasant nature. Always ready to lend a hand, he brought warmth and generosity to those around him. His devotion to his wife, Carol of 31 years was unwavering and deeply felt by all who knew them together.
Though his life's details are best remembered by those closest to him, Raymond's legacy lives on through the love and laughter he shared and the quiet strength he embodied.
May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him. Everybody loved my Raymond!
In lieu of flowers, please donate to Tunnel to Towers in Ray Wilson's name.
