Reid Allan Baker

Reid Allan Baker passed away in his family home in Ridgecrest, Ca on Saturday morning, May 29th, 2021. Reid was the only son of Donna Rae Anderson-Baker and Dale George Baker. He was survived by his life partner Cherillyn Kelly Lamb, her daughter Lizzy Lamb, his only child Donna Rose Baker aka Drew Rae Baker and his ex wife and mother of his child Elizabeth Elaine Koivu-Baker. Reid was born on August 2nd, 1957 in Riverside, CA. His father transferred to China Lake Naval Weapons Base and his mother opened a t-shirt and costume shop called Donna's Shirt Tales on Balsam Street. Reid was 14 when he moved to Ridgecrest and graduated from Burroughs Highschool in 1975. His father taught him photography , one of the many things the father and son enjoyed together. He loved photographing at school sporting events, for the school paper and yearbook. Reid was best known for the 36 years he drove a school bus for Sierra Sands Unified District. He loved his job and the families he met every day. He would crank the music up and sing along with the kids. Reid loved music , fine arts, fast cars, and even faster women. He was a little man with a big heart. He will be missed by many.
